Involving crochet, animals, a vegetable and hair. An average sort of a week then.

15th January 2014: First outing for the dress I crocheted over Christmas. It’s not very exciting, but it’s herringbone treble stitch and at 20 minutes a row, it was a labour of love!

16th January: Thank you, Royal Mail, for letting me know that my letter had been opened….would have been nice if you’d included it rather than delivering an empty envelope though. Humph!

18th January 2014. Two thirds of my hair cut off so I could have a proper style! 5 days later, a grand total of 3 people have noticed :o(

19th January 2014: Celeriac: The vegetable that hates to be peeled. (But once you’ve managed it, tastes delicious in a slow cooked celeriac and pear soup.)

20th January 2014: My new pen. Message received yesterday from a colleague sitting at my desk: ‘this santa bird thing is scaring me.’ :o)

21st January 2014: 6 weeks later, Norman FINALLY got in his new bed. (For 30 minutes. He has since returned to his bag of wool to sleep. He has his own bag now as I was so fed up with him emptying mine…)
:o)
