Flapjack Fairies

I did some secret bakering at the weekend.  I actually did some the week before, but in the way that I think is probably unique to me, I managed to screw up all five trays of flapjacks that I made.  Only the edges were worth saving – the rest ended up in the bin.

But I wasn’t about to let some rolled oats beat me so I tried again….and it was a success:

And not only did I hear some colleagues telling each other how good they were (AND they are the colleagues that never talk to each other!), but this was left in the kitchen:

And it made me smile :o)

Right, here’s the deal. You let us know the next time, and exact place, the bakerary fairy is going to leave a large tin of bakararies, and we’ll be there with a post it note and a large carrier bag. For our part we guarantee to talk to anyone we come across in our dawn raid. Sounds fair to us.
P.S. some fairly large percentage of chocolate ingredient would not go amiss!!!

Ha ha! Well it’s always a Monday, once a month and I leave the house at 5.30am….that narrows down the stakeout time ;o)

Right, a completely new deal. Monday’s are fine, but 5.30 is a time which only Bakery Fairies inhabit. We’ve come up with a better plan. You leave home at 5.30 but inadvertently leave the large box of chocalaty flapjacks on your doorstep. We turn up (the post it notes are somewhat superfluous in this plan – but we’ll bring some in case) at around mid day, still yawning and dressed in jim jammy type things. We’ll then deploy the large carrier bag, and everyone’s a winner. Well almost everyone!! Teach ’em not to talk to each other.

Now that is just cheeky! But it made me laugh alot :o) I’m sure there is probably an easier solution somewhere…. X
