I do wonder if it could be some ones pet ferret. Worth asking around where you live. Wild ferrets are very elusive hence my suspicion it is a pet.
Yes, I think he probably is a pet Reg, but I am hoping is is a homing Ferret as there wasn’t a chance of my picking him up and taking him around all the neighbours!
